The History of China's National Day

On October 1, 1949, the People's Republic of China was inaugurated. An official victory celebration and ceremony was held in Tian’an men Square. Mao Zedong raised the first Communist national flag of China in person amid 300,000 soldiers and other people who were gathered at the square.

Nepal Customers Visiting Our Gabion Machine Factory

Today our Nepal customer together with his engineer came to our factory again to fanalize Gabion Making Machine. They said the gabion market competition is very fierce in Nepal, they want very high quality machine to produce good gabion, and they are planning to give order to us after comparing with several factory. They checked our machine carefully in the workshop. We talked deeply from technical part to commercial part and resolved all their questions.

Then we talked about some other machine which already offered quotation to them like Ribbed Bar Production Line, Annealing Furnace, Wire Drawing Machine and Nail Making Machine, since he has a wide range of business scope. We showed our video to them and they have much interest in these machines, and we will move forward afterwards. After finished the business negotiation, we are in a pizza restaurant talking about some leisure topic. They are esteemed customer and we are going to cooperate in many fields in the foreseeable future.

BBQ Team Activity

    Last week, we organized a team activity, BBQ in the countryside ranch.

    It was a nice day, the air was filled with the fragrance of osmanthus flowers. We brought the raw material and start the fire. Everybody participated in cooking, especially Mr. Alex, he was really a good cook and the food was especially delicious, we all appreciated it and enjoyed it.

    After the barbecue, everyone found some entertainment activities. Mr. Zheng was playing on a swing, Mrs Wang was taking the picture of the beautiful scenery, other people like Michael Bo, Niki King, Jet Wang, Vincy Zheng were playing cards. This wonderful afternoon passed in a peaceful tempo.

    This team activity is really a good chance to build relationship between CANDID family. We all have a great time.

2015 Mid-autumn Festival

In 2015 it takes place on Sunday September 27th. We will have a two-day "public holiday" on the 26th and 27th.

Mooncakes are traditional Chinese pastries generally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the second most important festival in China. The festival typically involves families getting together to share mooncakes while watching the moon.

What Mooncakes Are and How They Are Eaten

In ancient times, mooncakes were a kind of offering to the moon. Over the centuries, these special cakes have become the most popular food of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Mooncakes are usually eaten in small wedges during the festival, and shared by family members. They are generally served with Chinese tea, and, very rarely, mooncakes are served steamed or fried.

The Meaning of the Mooncake

In Chinese culture, roundness symbolizes completeness and togetherness. A full moon symbolizes prosperity and reunion for the whole family. Round mooncakes complement the harvest moon in the night sky at the Mid-Autumn Festival.

       The mooncake is not just a food. It's a profound cultural tradition deep in Chinese people's hearts, symbolizing a spiritual feeling. At Mid-Autumn Festival people eat mooncakes together with family, or present mooncakes to relatives or friends, to express love and best wishes.

Our GM Mr.Zheng’s Wonderful Journey to Tunisia Customer

It's really a wonderful journey although this is my second time to Tunisia! I'm very expecting for this travel since I received the invitation from our Tunisia customer S.T.M.N. in July.

The next day after arrival at Bizerte, I visited the factory of STMN, Mr. Yousserf and Mr. Mosen guided me have a view of the 3 lines of Wire Drawing Machine, two of them were purchased from us in 2003 and 2006 separately. We are all so glad that the 1st line was still running as a new machine right now since 2004. It's make me feel more prouder of such quality machine we supplied. Mr. Mosen said our machine brought them good luck and they have become the biggest iron wire supplier in Tunisia after 12 years developing.

After view all the running machines, Mr. Mosen told me that they intend to purchase a Straight Line Wire Drawing Line this year to replace the existing Wheel Type Wire Drawing Machine, in order to increase their capacity of production in a limited area. Meantime, they will purchase the Wire Mesh Machine to extend their supplying scope. We exchange the detailed technical issue and confirmed Mr. Mosen will visit us again one month later.

In the next few days, I had a very luxury vacation in Djerba together with Mr. Moez the son of Mr Youssef.

We believe this visiting in Tunisia is the new beginning for S.T.M.N and CANDID. It will bring us more prosperous future.
